WhalePunk intends to build a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) soon, enabling community members to take part in the project's governance and decision-making procedures. Community members will be able to suggest and vote on protocol modifications through the DAO as well as distribute resources and money for projects like development. The DAO will function in decentralized manner, with voting authority being divided among community members in accordance with their stake in the project.
